Stuart D. Eaton

Reverend Stuart D. Eaton was educated by the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School System and is a proud graduate of Carver High School, Class of 1998.  In 2006, Rev. Eaton graduated from Forsyth Technical Community College with an Associate Degree in General Studies/College Transfer Program. He is currently pursuing his Bachelor of Theology degree at Apex School of Theology, earning a 4.0 GPA in his first scholastic term.

 

Eaton is an entrepreneur and aspiring author. He is the proud owner of Soulful Designs by Eaton where its services include; fashion design, custom clothing, and graphic arts that include logo and promotional creation. He is currently writing two books, one speaks to Denominational-ism and the Christian Church and the other addresses the African-American Man and his family, both are scheduled to be published by 2020.  He is also a proud member of The Ministers’ Conference of Winston-Salem & Vicinity, The NAACP and Urban League’s Young Professionals both of Winston-Salem, and Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated.  As a man of Sigma he serves as Youth Advisor to his fraternity’s Sigma Beta Club, mentoring young men from the ages 8-18.

Eaton served faithful as Pastoral Assistant and Armor Bearer from 1999-2011, Union Baptist Church in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.  Being led of God’s spirit he transitioned to St. James Missionary Baptist Church in Winston-Salem and was licensed to the Gospel Ministry in 2012 under the Pastoral leadership of Mack H.L. McConnel, Senior Pastor.  He is presently serving as Youth Director and Youth Minister and as a Sunday School and Bible Study Teacher.  He is also the director of St. James MBC’s Warriors of Christ Mens’ Fellowship.

He received his Ministry Ordination through the Guilford Educational Missionary Baptist Association, where he is currently serving his second under as Director of Christian Education/Corresponding Secretary to the Sunday School & Baptist Training Union Auxiliary and has been named to this association’s Board of Trustees.

This man of God has a great passion for growing and equipping Christians as Kingdom Citizens through sound teaching, spiritual empowerment, and encouraging them to have a Christ centered identity.  

Eaton is a native of Winston-Salem, NC and son to the now late Edgar L. Duncan Jr., (father) and David A. Smart (stepfather) and Donna Eaton Smart. He is the proud big brother to DraLisa A. Smart.
